The host was absolutely amazing and always ready to answer any question, making our stay super easy and enjoyable. The breakfast and dinner were mind-blowing, and the communication was a breeze. They even organized our safari and transfer to the next location. The property was jaw-dropping, with a beautiful garden surrounding the pool and bungalows. The staff was friendly and supportive, serving a delicious Sri Lankan dinner and a fantastic breakfast outdoors. The brand new and extremely clean rooms were spacious, with a free air conditioning, electric kettle, and access to free Wi-Fi. We also had an incredible safari experience organized by the staff, with a private lodge in the middle of the jungle. The couple running the place were incredibly welcoming, and the buffet dinner was fantastic. Highly recommended for an amazing, jaw-dropping experience!

I traveled to Udawalawe for a safari and stayed at Database pros. The staff were helpful in finding a good place to eat, Common Rose, and with information concerning my onward travels. The safari organized by Database pros was enjoyable, and the safari guide was knowledgeable. The hotel itself is very clean and provides great hospitality. The rooms are big with nice views. The owner is helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. I also enjoyed a tasty dinner from their restaurant. the experience at Database pros was awesome and I would recommend it to couples and families.

The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities like a sitting area and a desk. The AC worked well to keep us cool during the hot weather. The bathroom was clean and had hot water with great shower pressure. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious, especially the hoppers and fresh fruit. The hotel was conveniently located near the elephant transit home and they helped us arrange a safari. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the pool was a nice addition to our romantic escape.
That the hotel lacked clear signage, which made it a bit difficult to find initially. the Wi-Fi signal was weak and unreliable at times, which was a bit frustrating.

Loved the free shuttle service, especially since I got lost twice finding the hotel. The water park onsite was amazing, I even managed to ride the kiddie slide without humiliating myself.
Oh, I just adore when a hotel doesn't have a restaurant! Who needs to eat when you can starve and fish in the surroundings?

Loved the restaurant and the free shuttle service. The water park onsite was a blast, enjoyed cycling and fishing in the surroundings. And oh, the year-round outdoor pool, what a delightful place to take a dip!
As if I needed another reason to despise cycling, the neighbors' constant barking dogs made it even more enjoyable.
